Executive Education Program for Young Political Leaders (2021-2024)
As Faculty Chair of Golkar Institute, Mulya was in charge of this program, producing 650+ alumni during that period. Of whom, 200+ became legislative candidates, and 63 were elected as legislative members in the 2024 Elections.
Indonesia Presidential Campaign 2024
Mulya was a member of the national campaign team's expert board (Dewan Pakar TKN Prabowo-Gibran), specializing in infrastructure, housing, economics, and urban and regional development.
EV Digital Competitiveness Index of Indonesian Regions (2020-2024)
At Katadata Insight Center, Mulya was principal researcher for the East Ventures Digital Competitiveness Index for Indonesian Regions. He created the index, including framework and methodology, and oversaw the construction and reporting of the index.
Indonesia Digital Literacy Status (2020 - 2023)
At Katadata Insight Center, Mulya was Member of Expert Panel (and previously Research Director) for the annual Indonesia Digital Literacy Status, co-produced with the Ministry of Communications and Informatics.
Building Jakarta into a Better City (2018-2020)
As Program Director of Jakarta Property Institute, Mulya led the institute's programming and public communications to make Jakarta easier to do business in, more affordable, and more livable.
Competitiveness Studies of Asia's Subnational Economies (2011-2017)
As Deputy Director/Research Fellow (and previously Research Associate), Mulya was in charge of ensuring research quality, and he was the lead researcher for ACI’s annual competitiveness analysis of Indonesian provinces.
Competitiveness Field Research in the Indonesian Provinces (2012-2017)
As lead researcher for ACI’s annual competitiveness analysis of Indonesian provinces, Mulya organized multiple teams to conduct surveys in all the Indonesian provinces, in collaboration with the local employer's association (Apindo), the local university, and local government.

In 2008-2011, Mulya was based in Singapore working as Urban Planner for Jurong Consultants and Project Manager for HOK.
